Ever notice how the more things change, the more they stay the same? Or, in other words, how much we figured out about the benefits of solid nutrition and regular exercise…centuries ago? Hippocrates predates us by a couple of millennia (to be more or less exact, as much as one can be about these things, he lived from around 460 BC to around 370 BC). But he knew his stuff. Today’s fitness meme of the week is dedicated to common sense: the things we know we already know about why exercise and diet matter so much.
Today, honor your own inner knowledge and your own sense of what’s right for you. And then, get out there and get your workout on.
