(*If you’re wondering, the marathon distance is 26.2 miles – or just a hair under 42.2 kilometers. So, 42 race signs for 42 kilometers. Because there’s no way they could have only chosen 26. There were too many awesome signs out there. It was just that kind of a day in Boston.)
